Each month, starting from June, we will be giving you the chance to win a new fantastic prize.

Everybody who has signed up to receive this blog will automatically be entered into each months competition. Just enter your email address in the box opposite, easy!

June’s prize is the excellent ‘Tropical Rainforest Habitat Kit’ from Exo-Terra worth at least £149.99.

We use this kit to keep many of our own animals happy in our shop. At 45 x 45 x 60 cm (18″ x 18″ x 24) it’s large enough to house many species of tree frogs, arboreal spiders and we also use them for crested geckos.

You get included with the Exo Terra Glass Terrarium a Compact Top, Hygromometer, Thermometer, Rock Background, Water Dish Medium, Plantation Soil, Jungle Plant Croton, Jungle Plant Amapallo, Jungle Vine Small, Jungle Vine Large, Jungle Fern Large and an Instruction Manual.

No lighting or food? Don’t worry, if you win just let us know what animal you plan on keeping and we’ll sort that out for you too. Free, of course.

We’ll draw the winner at the end of June and let you all know who won!

hi there iv signed up for these amazing setup for my tree frogs,
just wondering if you have any good suggestions for a new snake ? im nearly a beginner iv only got a corn snake about a year old(not sure what sex) and will be getting another to mate with soon,
but was wondering if you stock any other good beginner snakes?
    thanks pete.

Hi Pete, corn snakes are the best beginner snake. However if you are now comfortable with corn snakes, why not consider something like a king snake? Or even hognoses are great too.

This is very lovely. We are working on getting many types of reptiles. We have a Royal Ball Python, he’s very beautiful, friendly & love attention. I’m gald we decided to get him, he’s our best friend. A friend of our’s had no place to keep him, so he gave him to us. So we are looking for a set-up for our corn snakes that are going to be added to our family soon & with a couple of turtles.
