Win a Lucky Reptile Egg Incubator AND a Komodo Spider Set-up!

Congratulations to the winner of June’s Exo-Terra set-up prize Ayla Webb! We look forward to blogging pictures of yourself and your new set-up.

For July, we thought we’d give you 2 chances to win. We’ll be giving away a free Lucky Reptile Herp Nursery II egg incubator and a free Komodo Spider/ Scorpion Kit.

The Lucky Reptile Herp Nursery II is a very popular reptile egg incubator due to it’s ease of use. It has a R.R.P of £139.99 (currently £109.99 on our website). It is suitable for incubating all eggs including bearded dragons, corn snakes and chameleons. It also has a cooling device and can run at a constant 5 degrees making it perfect for incubating tortoises. Whilst not containing eggs or tortoises it also makes a great beer cooler!

The Komodo Spider/ Scorpion kit is a complete set up for anybody interested in tarantulas or scorpions. It is a high quality glass tank with a very secure fitted lid. Also included in this kit are a heat mat, bark, substrate, thermometer, hygrometer, water dish and a book. It really does come with everything you need. But, if you are an arachnophobe, this quality kit will make a great gift too!

To try and win, just enter your email address in the box at the top right of this screen. If you are already receiving these blogs, you are already entered! Remember, you only need to sign up once to be automatically entered into each months prize draws.

The draw for both prizes will be on the 1st of August and both winners will be notified by email.

UK residents only.

I had a python when I was younger and have recently decided to get myself a new reptile…not sure what yet as the choice these days seems to be so much wider!

This is a great site with loads of useful info and appears to be ran by a very friendly and enthusiastic team….

Thanks…I am now a regular visitor!

is it normal for a corn snake to lay a clutch then 8 weeks later lay another lot.

    • Gary July 13, 2009 at 8:18 am #

Yes that can happen. Just keep a close eye on your female as double clutching can take a lot out of them

We have just rescued 2 neglected crested geckos and hope we can bring them back to full health any help will be gratefully received .I don’t know the sex of them and am hoping they are not both males. One is really thin the other isn’t too bad.

    • Gary July 15, 2009 at 1:25 pm #

All you can do is give them the very best conditions and diet. Hopefully you can bring them around. They are easy to sex as adults as the males have lumps at the base of their tail. Please let me know how you get on!

Im like not in the move to buy whole tarantula/scorpion setup with the creature , you know i like them as pets, but i just wouldnt buy them, i would only if i won Komodo Spider/Scorpion setup, instead of just dumping it i would go ahead and buy a lil devil, id choose chile rose instead of scorpions, why? their bigger, cuter , and so hairy like lil teddys!
