Many of you have already confirmed you are attending the Northampton Reptile Centre open weekend via our Facebook event page. So I thought now is a good time to start announcing some of the prizes that will be up for grabs over the weekend.

Other things happening on the day

- Sam’s Species Reptile Rescue will be exhibiting some of their rescued and rehabilitated residents, including large burmese pythons, giant sulcata tortoises and big monitor lizards (not to be missed).
- NEC Photography will be taking your photo with a selection of reptiles in front of a jungle background!
- 20% off all Zoo Med products, a great time to replace your UVB tube if it’s around 6 months old.
- Free nail trimming service for lizards, we will safely clip over-grown claws if you bring your lizard in.
- Free snake sexing service, just bring your snake along to be probed by one of our experienced herpetoculturists.
- Antony’s lucky dip. Win prizes in Antony’s special game, free entry with any purchase (we’ll start announcing some of the prizes next week).
- Fancy chickens and plants will be on show from Bell Plantation.
- Birds of prey are being exhibited by the falconry centre.
