The Arcadia Reptile Dragon Lamp is a bold, white, full spectrum and very bright High Output T5 UVB projection lamp for captive reptiles. The lamp represents an almost doubling of light (LUX) and has a CRI of over 95 which will you as the keeper to see your animal in all of its natural glory.

Upper index basking for a desert species is set at a massive 15 inches or 35-40cm from the reflected lamp to the animal back at the basking or shortest point. Reflector

When a fluorescent tube is ignited, light is given off evenly in every direction, much of which is directed upwards into the lid of the aquarium.

If a reflector is mounted behind the tube, this stray light is not wasted, but redirected back to where it is required, the aquarium, so that the efficiency of the tube is maximised.
