Getting your crickets, worms and locusts direct to your door from the breeder is incredible easy but there are a few things you can do to make sure you get the best quality livefoods.
Order early in the week
To ensure you get the freshest food, you want it to get from the breeder to your reptile in the shortest time possible. By ordering on a Monday or a Tuesday you will avoid any possibility of your food sat in a post office over the weekend.
Order only what you need
If your Leopard Geckos eat 2 boxes of crickets a week, just order 2 boxes a week. Buying online is so easy, fresh, new crickets are only a few clicks of a mouse away. No need to waste food or money.
Take advantage of bulk deals
If you use a lot of livefood there are money saving deals available. Crickets, locusts, mealworms and waxworms are all available in larger packs that work out as better value for money.
Keep your food fresh and healthy
If you are not using all of your crickets or locusts in one meal there are products available to keep them at their best until you are ready to use them. Store them in a ventilated enclosure like our faunariums. Feed them on carrot and gut load them with Bug Grub. To prevent them dehydrating use a water gel like Bug Gel, they cannot drown in it!
