How do Bearded Dragons lay their eggs? Watch this video!,

You’re probably already aware that we breed a lot of Bearded Dragons at our Northampton shop. But you may be surprized to know that it’s very rare for us to see any of our girls laying their eggs.

Pop, pop, pop

Usually we’ll just find a clutch of eggs whilst checking the nesting boxes in the morning. So, when one of our female beardies started laying her eggs in the middle of a busy Saturday afternoon, we thought it was a great opportunity to grab the camera and share it with you all.

Also, by luck, she dug her pit in the open end of the nesting box so we didn’t have to disturb her at all to get the footage.

The video is below, have a watch and let us know what you think in the comments section. I like the way she pats down the soil with her head after burying the eggs. Oh, and don’t forget to share this with your friends!

Our bearded dragons, we thought they were both males, just had eggs. The majority of them are white and perfect with three that have a yellow tinge like in your video on facebook. We gently took the eggs out and put them in their own aquarium with sand beneath them like you did in your video on youtube. Should we put a small dish of water in tank for moisture. I wish to do my best to keep these little eggs perfect. Please advise. Thanks in advance
