Dwarf White Woodlice as Reptile Food

Our dwarf white woodlice are the main cleaner crew for bio-active enclosures. They are very small and hard to catch making them a great cleaner crew for larger amphibians and reptiles. They can also be fed to very small amphibians and invertebrates in place of flies but will be a bit of a smaller meal. Our dwarf white woodlice are dispatched direct from the breeder and will be gut loaded before packing to make sure that they are as nutritious as possible on arrival.

Dwarf white woodlice are the perfect size for hatchling amphibians very small fish and juvenile insectivorous invertebrates (e.g. mantis and tarantulas). In store we use the dwarf white woodlice with our baby spiders, baby frogs and mantis

This product will be delivered in a plastic container. The bottom of the tub is covered in nutrient rich soil based substrate. The sides of the plastic tub are perforated to provide maximum ventilation with minimum risk of escape. The colony is usually hatched in transit and should be fully populated within a week.

You'll love them because:
  • We guarantee freshness or your money back
  • They are farm bred in ethical conditions.
  • They are pre-fed to ensure your reptile is getting a healthy and nutritious meal.
  • Delivered straight to your door in good time.
We recommend dwarf white woodlice for the following animal types:
  • Baby Frogs
  • Small spiders
  • Small mantis
  • Baby toads

Each order of livefood will also come with a free ProRep Jelly pot. The dwarf white woodlice will need some source of hydration soon after hatching. We have found that they don't do very well with open bodies of water so the jelly pot is an effective alternative. Simply put the jelly pot into your tub after a day or two of receiving the item.

If you want to keep the dwarf white woodlice as long as possible we would recommend you continue to feed them on a nutritious vegetable and fruit diet or with insect foods. For more information on the diet please consult our livefood caresheet.
