Thanks to 15 high-performance LEDs, the Lucky Reptile LED Sun Spot 15W produces an amazing light intensity, comparable to a 35W metal halide lamp. The 25 beam angle is perfect to create very bright sun spots in larger terrariums. However, the lamp releases very little heat whicht makes it especially suitable for animals with low heat requirements like most amphibians, invertebrates and many snakes, as well as animals from higher altitudes, such as many chameleons that need a lot of light but little heat. In such terrariums an incredible light intensity can be created without heating it up excessively.
