A large Isopod species reaching nearly 3cm as adults. Males and females are sexually dimorphic, with the more colourful males also featuring a longer tail. Generally dark in colour with a bright red-orange skirt and two rows of yellow spots down their back, though some will be more plain in colour. Originating from Spain, this species requires a drier enclosure with access to humid areas.

Your woodlice will be delivered in a plastic container. The sides of the plastic tub are perforated to provide maximum ventilation with minimum risk of escape.

To keep the isopods healthy we would recommend you continue to feed them on a nutritious vegetable and fruit diet or with insect food.
