Kingsnakes

Kingsnakes are a very commonly kept and popular pet snake in the UK. They will only get to around 4-6ft in length but remain very slender making them smaller and easier to handle than pythons or boas. They usually have a great temperament and are very easy to feed and care for which makes them a great choice for first time keepers.

Kingsnakes only need to feed once a week or fortnight depending on how large they are which means they require very little upkeep. As they don't feed often it means that waste also accumulates slowly and with daily spot cleans you might only need to fully clean the enclosure once every 4-6 weeks. The kingsnake will need fresh water every day.
