Drosophilia melanogaster will reach a max size of 2.5mm and are an ideal prey item for small amphibians such as Ranitomeya and Mantellas, small invertebrates and other small reptiles. A complete culture of flightless fruitflies in a pre-packed tub containing culture medium, eggs, larvae and pupa.

The culture will produce a steady stream of flies for a couple of weeks and should be kept at normal room temperature. Warmer temperatures will speed up development but may shorten the lifespan of the culture.
