The lid remains 15mm thick, which has become the standard for wooden vivariums, as it allows a variety of equipment to be screwed directly into the ceiling of the enclosure and held securely in place. All of these improvements in weight and design lead to a vivarium that's easy to build and light enough to relocate.
Maximum Visibility
Owing to the aluminium corner posts, there is no longer a need to use large obstructive support plinths on the front of the enclosure. For maximum visibility, the ProRep vivarium range includes a bottom strip of glass, topped with a black runner for the sliding glass doors, which extend all the way to the ceiling.
