You can easily remove the bottom base of the terrarium. Inside, a large amount of substrate will fit up to a 4 cm thick layer, furthermore being waterproof there will be no problems even for growing live plants which serve as decoration and give a realistic space for praying mantises, other insects and even spiders.

But how to water the plants? No need to remove the base every time and even open the top door! In one of the walls there is a hole through which you can water the plants without having to open the terrarium.
