Tropical Nitrogen Test

Description

Tropical nitrogen tests come in two forms: 2 for Nitrites and 3 for Nitrates.

Test NO2:

• Nitrite Test: A test kit for measuring the concentration of nitrite (NO2⁻) in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It measures nitrite levels within the range of 0-3.3 mg/L. This test is convenient and extremely easy to use. Simply add the reagent solution drop by drop until the sample changes colour, then compare it with the provided colour scale.
• Nitrites originate from fish excreta, uneaten food, and other organic waste that accumulates in the aquarium and is broken down by bacteria. The concentration of nitrites in an aquarium should be zero, as they are highly toxic to fish. The highest nitrite concentrations are usually observed in new, overstocked tanks or after treatment with bactericidal agents.

• Nitrate Test Kit: A test kit for measuring the concentration of nitrate (NO3⁻) in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It measures nitrate levels within the range of 0-100 mg/L. This test is convenient and extremely easy to use. Simply add the reagent solution drop by drop until the sample changes colour, then compare it with the provided colour scale.
