Wax Plant (Hoya sp.) - X-Large
The leaves of this unique Hoya plant transition from a deep red to a deep green colour as they mature, eventually displaying a darker leaf rim.
With time and care, this climbing plant can be trained to grow upwards or left to hang freely, fitting your interior design. If the new leaves lose their variegation, this indicates the need for a brighter location. Keep a lookout for this and provide proper care for this Hoya to flourish with its stunning foliage and possibly fragrant cream-coloured blooms if given ideal conditions.
Requiring bright, indirect light, Wax Plant (Hoya sp.) can flourish with a touch of morning or evening sun. It is crucial to provide 1-2 hours of direct sunlight during the plant's dormant season in autumn and winter.
Ensure that the top one-third of the soil dries out before watering again. In winter and low-light areas, decrease watering. Water should not collect in the foliage or flowers as this can lead to harm.
The ideal temperature is between 15-35°C;, ensuring it does not get colder than 15°C in winter or for longer periods.
Hoya is not toxic but can have bad reactions for your pets, including vomiting/ diarrhoea.
