Microclimate is one of the original manufacturers that specialised in reptile equipment. Drawing on 30 years of experience, they designed the Ministat range. This thermostat in particular is a compact, dimming thermostat that can be used for any heating element.

Dimming thermostats, unlike On/Off thermostats, will bring the enclosure up to the required temperature and then, instead of turning off the heating element, they will 'dim' the bulb or cable so that the temperature can hover around what it has been set at. When the temperature drops too low, it will increase power back into the heating element.
