Native to South America the Piper plant is known for its unique heart shape and vibrant foliage. 

For optimal growth and well-being of your Piper ornatum 'Red' plants, it is essential to follow these important care guidelines. Start by providing them with the appropriate level of light. Typically, Piper plants flourish in moderate, diffuse lighting, making a window with filtered sunlight the perfect spot. Be sure to avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, as it can potentially damage their delicate leaves. 

The 'Red' Piper Plant (Piper ornatum) thrives in slightly moist soil and benefits from occasional misting to increase humidity. With proper moisture levels, these tropical plants will add a vibrant touch to any indoor space.

Upon observing the back of a Piper Crocatum leaf, one may notice the presence of small clear crystals, also known as exudate. These natural crystals allow the plant to release excess sugars through minute openings in the leaf tissues. These crystals will eventually dry out and oxidize, leaving behind minuscule black specks that can be easily rubbed off with fingers.

Some heavy items may need to be moved from your selected delivery service to a palletised delivery service with a delivery time of 1-2 working days.

Offshore/ Remote UK Delivery:

Orders via Royal Mail are unaffected. Orders that need to be delivered via a courier may (but not always) incur additional delivery charges if you live in one of the following post codes; AB30-56, IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-50, ZE, IM, BT & TR21-25.
