Prickly Aloe (Aloe aculeata) - Large
Introducing the 'Prickly Aloe' (Aloe aculeata), characterized by tooth-like spines on the outer leaves. Despite its intimidating appearance, this succulent is low-maintenance and thrives in sunny locations all year round.
During the summer, it is important to only water thoroughly when the soil has completely dried out. In the autumn and winter, allow the soil to dry out completely before watering sparingly (approximately every two months). In the spring, gradually increase watering based on temperature and light exposure.
Light requirements:
Full sun.
Feed:
Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year.

The plant boasts leaves that grow to a height of 30 to 60 cm (12 to 24 in). Its buds feature reddish orange to yellow coloring, which opens up to an orange to yellow hue. The flowers themselves reach a length of 23 to 40 mm (0.91 to 1.57 in).
