Tropical Water Test GH/KH

Description

Tropical Test GH/KH is a General and Carbonate Hardness Test Kit. This test kit measures general hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH) in aquariums and ponds using a titrimetric method. It is convenient and easy to use—simply add the reagent solution drop by drop until the colour changes. Each drop of reagent corresponds to one German degree of general hardness (°dGH) or carbonate hardness (°dKH).

Many fish species tolerate a wide hardness range, but for some species, maintaining the correct hardness level is essential for health and successful breeding. Higher carbonate hardness (KH) stabilizes pH, but it can also make pH adjustments more challenging when necessary.
